                 বৃদ্ধার বিল:-

একদা এক বিরাটাকার জাহাজে যান্ত্রিক গোলযোগ পরিলক্ষিত হয়। জাহাজ মেরামতের অভিপ্রায়ে মালিকের চেষ্টায় কোন ত্রুটি দৃষ্টিগোচর হয়নি। আজ এক জনকে, কাল অন্য জনকে, পরশু আরেকজনকে দিয়ে চেষ্টা চালিয়েই যাইতেছিল। কিন্তু কাহারো পক্ষেই এই জাহাজটিকে মেরামত করা সম্ভব হইতেছিল না। দেশ বিদেশের বিভিন্ন বিশেষজ্ঞরা আপ্রাণ চেষ্টা করিয়াও যখন কোন কুল কিনারা করিতে পারিতেছিল না তখন এক বৃদ্ধ লোকের ডাক পরিল। কারণ বৃদ্ধার যৌবনকালে এমন একটি সমস্যার সমাধান করিয়াছিল বলিয়া জনশ্রুত আছে।

বয়োবৃদ্ধ ভদ্রলোক বিশাল এক যন্ত্রপাতির বাক্স লইয়া হাজির হইয়া দ্রুতই কাজে নামিয়া পরিল। সে ইঞ্জিনের শুরু হইতে শেষ পর্যন্ত খুবই সতর্কতার সহিত পুঙ্খানুপুঙ্খ ভাবে পরখ করিয়া দেখিল। জাহাজের মালিক বৃদ্ধার সহিত সর্বক্ষণ লাগিয়া থাকিল এবং বোঝার চেষ্টা করিল বৃদ্ধা কিভাবে জাহাজ মেরামত করিবে।

পরিদর্শন শেষ করিয়া বৃদ্ধলোকটি তাহার বিশাল যন্ত্রপাতির বহর হইতে একটি ছোট্ট হাতুড়ি বাহির করিয়া ধীরে সুস্থে এঞ্জিনের নির্দিষ্ট একটি জায়গায় হাতুড়ি দিয়া কয়েকটা আঘাত প্রদান করিল। সঙ্গে সঙ্গেই এঞ্জিনটি সচল হইয়া উঠিল। কর্মসম্পাদনে বৃদ্ধা সাবধানে তাহার হাতুড়ি ব্যাগে রাখিল।

জাহাজ সারাই সুসম্পন্ন।

এক সপ্তাহ পর

জাহাজের মালিক ১ (এক) লক্ষ টাকার একটি ফর্দ হাতে পাইয়া চোখ ছানাবড়া।

অসম্ভব!!! বুইড়া তো কিছুই করে নাই। সামান্য হাতুড়ী পিটাইয়া এত টাকা চায়?

বৃদ্ধার কাছে বিলটি ফেরত পাঠিয়ে অনুরোধ করা হইলো “দয়া করিয়া তালিকাবদ্ধ ভাবে বিল প্রদান করুণ।”

বৃদ্ধার বিল:

হাতুড়ির বারি দেয়ার জন্য …… ২০০.০০ টাকা

কোথায় হাতুড়ি দিয়ে বাড়ি দিতে হবে সেটা জানার জন্য …. ৯৯,৮০০.০০ টাকা

এই গল্পে আমরা কি শিখলাম?

উদ্যম অবশ্যই গুরুত্বপূর্ণ, কিন্তু কোথায় উদ্যমী হলে অন্যের সাথে নিজের পার্থক্য দৃশ্যমান হবে সেটা জানাটা অনেক বেশী গুরুত্বপূর্ণ।

         

        

             The old woman's bill,:-

 Once upon a time there was a mechanical disturbance on a huge ship. No fault was found in the owner's attempt to repair the ship. Today one person, tomorrow another person, the day after tomorrow another person was trying. But it was not possible for anyone to repair the ship. An old man was called when various experts from home and abroad could not find a cool edge despite their best efforts. Because there are rumors that the old woman solved such a problem in her youth.

 The old gentleman came with a big box of equipment and hurried to work. He carefully examined the engine from start to finish. The owner of the ship stayed with the old woman all the time and tried to understand how the old woman would repair the ship.

 At the end of the inspection, the old man took out a small hammer from his huge fleet of machinery and slowly inflicted a few blows with a hammer on a fixed part of the healthy engine. Immediately the engine started. The old woman carefully put her hammer in the bag.

 Ship repairs are complete.

 A week later

 The owner of the ship got a sheet of 1 (one) lakh rupees in his hand and his eyes watered.

 Impossible !!! Buira did nothing. Beating a little hammer wants so much money?

 Returning the bill to the old woman, the request was made, "Please pay the bill in a listed manner."

 Old age bill:
